Delta Airlines

Im going to be flying to San Francisco this summer on Delta, and Ive never flown them before. Im pretty used to flying Continental...how does Delta compare to them? TV or Movies on board? Whats the food like? Are the seats comfortable? Am I going to be alive by the time I land?

EDIT: Plus are my bags going to go where Im going to go? And am I going to wind up waiting 2 hours for the flight to take off even though its nice out?

Delta's a good airline. Very good record on maintence. Decent with security. I like Continental better than Delta, but it's still a good airline. Food is about as you'd expect. I find their seats too small which why I rarely fly them. Of course I'm 6'4 so I don't fit anywhere really.

How about punctuality? Do they have a lot of delays? Do they have TVs or movies on the flight? I got an 8 and a half hour flight (including 1 stop) ahead of me....

And most importantly, are they a safe airline?

Well I only flew them once, but I found it to be a plesant flight. One lay over, and the second flight was overbooked so I got bumped to first class! Sweet. I could tell you they had TV on first class, but not coach.
