Cicadas

I notice a lot of people from NY and DC (here and other forums I visit) mention the cicadas. There are none near me. I was waiting for the day when I wake up and hear them. I said to a few people "hey, are there cicadas up here?" and they replyed "there's everything here that there is in new york" (of course, I replyed with "except black people", but that's off topic). Anyway, I'm still waiting for these cicadas. Can they come late? Jeeze, this place blows.

the colonial (PGA tour event) was in long island last weekend and you could hear them load over the mics, so they are in some spots

Could be, but I havent heard them anywhere, and Ive been listening for them and looking too, because they were "suppose" to be the weird ones with the red eyes.

It was the Memorial and it was in Ohio. The colonial is played in Texas I think.

They have a very bad cicada problem in Ohio. I was watching the tournament.

This is a real buzz - a swarm of cicadas that has returned to Muirfield Village for the first time in 17 years, as big as Texas grasshoppers and almost loud enough to drown out the Ohio State marching band during opening ceremonies Wednesday.
