Horseradish rocks! It goes great with kielbasa. It also tastes great mixed with some mayo. It makes a great sauce for cooked shrimp and probably tastes *GREAT* on a roast beef sandwich.

My dad used to get some lethally hot horseradish from a Polish butcher in Glen Cove. I took one taste and I swear I could feel the fontel cracks in my skull.

Thanks M1! Again!

I try to comprehend you but I have a dyslexic heart.

Hmmmm. Never thought of horseradish with kielbasa. As luck would have it, I have several pounds of good pork kielbasa in the fridge.

Looks like Jimmy's making a stop for horseradish tomorrow!

If anyone lives in Brooklyn-Go to Brennan and Carr and get a Roast beef sandwich and put horseradish mayo on it (Boars Head is the best) it is the best.

Make yummy baked catfish w/ creole mustard sauce. Mix horseradish, mayo, mustard, cajun spices and lemon juice. Pour it over catfish and bake it in the oven. yum yum.

Thanks for the reccomendation guys, I'll make a note to pick some of that up. Too bad I'm allergic to seafood, and I'm half asian...that's strange.

My step-dad's family spreads it on baked ham. It's actually pretty good.

I love horseradish. Does anyone know a good place in Manhattan to get fresh and really hot horseradish?

take a pint glass with ice and mix a healthy amount with some v8, vodka, celery salt, ground pepper, lemon juice, a dash of worcestershire sauce and a generous amount of your favourite hot sauce .... and if you feel healthy, throw in some veggies: olives, gerkins, pickles, celery and carrots ....

Take the horseradish mix it with ketchup, a bit of lemon juice, and some tabasco to taste and now you have cocktail sauce for shrimp or fish.

I also mix it with mayo and put it on roast beef sandwiches.

I went and bought some horseradish sauce yesterday. It's basically like mixing horseradish and mayo but better. I put it on some stuffed flank steak last night. Man it was good.

Sushi.
I LOVE SUSHI! Never in my life did I even think about trying it until I moved down to FL. Now my mother and I cant get enough! That Wasabi though is 10 times worse than regular horseradish, it'll burn your nostrals something bad, but tastes so good with tuna sushi. Little did I know that A major supermarket by me sells it fresh and will make anything you want as far as sushi
