I missed the beginning of a segment last night where Crazy Jen was talking about Frederick (Fredneck). Was anybody listening? How did it come up?

hahahahahah

That makes a lot of sense.

That's my hometown--I was born at the hospital (and survived!). And lived there until I was 18 or so.

You lived in the hospital until you were 18?! That's a lot of bed pan cleaning.

Jen's a Fredneck.

I'm the Fredneck, thank you (although I don't dip and I don't drive a pickup truck, or hang out at the McDonalds on a friday night, and I am not a member of the Volunteer Fire Department).

Aparently Matt Albert, a regular called for the Hideout, is from Frederick as well. Yikes.

They don't hang out at McDonald's. You done forgot your roots! They hang out at Sheetz, and don't you forget it!

Frederick is definitely bangin'. They're all related in Frederick, and they're all bangin'! Frederick produces more banjo players per square foot than anywhere else in the U.S.

Hmm. I don't know about that. Ten years ago it was the McDonalds on the Golden Mile. Which Sheetz is it now? The one by Rosemont or the one by South Street, near the Fairgrounds?

I'm sure they all shop at Boe's Strings.

Hole-eeeeeeee Sheeeee-it.

I walked into Boe's Strings with about 12 other people and Robert Fripp and we all bought Ovation Legend Acoustic Electrics. 18 years ago this very week. Weird.

Wow! All 13 of you lost the oars to your row boats all at once? Ingenius substitution you came up with! (I kid because I love ...)

I dunno, that really seems like a Hagerstown thing.

All Frederick is good for is road between here and Charlestown.
