View Full Version : Alice has gone AWOL
Alice S. Fuzzybutt

This time it was Alice's turn to experience wanderlust and I'm heartbroken. I've printed up about 25 flyers and am offering a $50 reward for my somewhat zaftig cat; last seen yesterday, 6/15 wearing a pink and rhinestone collar with ID tag.

I hope Alice comes home soon. Or at least gets a job and starts paying rent.
I'm keeping a good thought for you.

Well, if she keeps posing like that, of COURSE she's going to attract the wrong kind of attention.
Don't worry, Fuzzy. She'll be back soon!

That really sucks. I'm sure she'll be back after she's finished getting some. I know she loves her mommy very much.

Sorry to hear about Alice's adventure. I'm sure she'll be home real soon as soon as she gets that lil grumble in her belly and misses her "mommy".
No worries, she's a smart one she'll be back. :)

You'd think Otis would have warned her about the dangers of running away from home.
Hope she returns safe and sound.

I'm sure she'll come back.

Take her favorite blanket/toys and drag them around the perimeter of your house. You can also take sardines and use that around your house also to attract her.
Why am I being nice? I dunno. I guess cats just get me all mushy and diarrhea-ish.
Thanks Katylina, Monsterone, you make the shittiest sigs.

Thanks everybody. Right now she's probably sipping Cosmos and flirting with all the Tom cats out there.
I'm going to smack that fuzzy butt of hers when she gets back!

Once our cat disappeared for 9 days. Out of nowhere she just came back. She had beads around her neck and was walking kinda funny, but she was fine.
Don't worry about. Alice will return.

This is why I don't trust cats. Little sluts. No offense, Alice, I'm sure mini-Alice isn't a whore like the rest of 'em. Always fuckin' with me. They'll pay one of these days, yessir. Still talkin' about cats.

Im sure she will come back. Cats get like this once in a while, shes out sowing her "wild oats". Some Tomcat must been winking at her through the window, swishing his tail to entice her and shes rolling around in some bushes with him as we speak. If shes not fixed, she'll be back with a bunch of little ones behind her and youll have...

Sheeeeee's baaaaaaaaaaack!
Dummy was on the roof (isn't that part of an old joke?). I was on my fire escape calling for her when I heard her cry from above. She was a bit dirty but no worse for the wear.
Thanks for your support everybody!

Glad she's back. And here's the joke...
A man left his cat with his brother while he went on vacation for a week. When he came back, the man called his brother to see when he could pick the cat up. The brother hesitated, then said, ''I'm so sorry, but while you were away, the cat died."
The man was very upset and yelled, ''You know, you could have broken the news to me better than that. When I called today, you could have said he was on the roof and wouldn't come down. Then when I called the next day, you could have said that he had fallen off and the vet was working on patching him up. Then when I called the third day, you could have said he had passed away.''
The brother thought about it and apologized.
"So how's Mom?" asked the man.
"She's on the roof and won't come down."

By the way, was I the only one who had to look up the word zaftig? Literally no clue what it meant, and trying to figure it out in context was no help. I was WAY off. The actual meaning is:
1. Full-bosomed.
2. Having a full, shapely figure.

Thanks to Monsterone for my first sig.

I no longer let my cats out. Mainly, because I got tired of picking up mouse and bird parts, but also, because anytime they didnt come right home, I would freak out with worrying. I couldnt take it if another one of my cats got hit by a car or never came home again. They were pissy for a couple of days, but I think they're happy now. They are a lot more affectionate and love the attention.

I don't let my kitties out anymore either and they are still pissed. They sit by the back door every day. They also wont tolerate wearing collars and escape every once in a while. we have sort of a fenced in little tiny backyard so sometimes i let them out and sit out there with them while they roll around and eat grass. and when they do get out (even for an hour) I freak out until they come home (they always come home)

Sheeeeee's baaaaaaaaaaack!
I was waiting to hear that before I told this story. My cousin lives with his girlfriend in Florida, and her cat went missing. She put signs up all over the building looking for it.
It turned out the thing likes to chase birds off the terrace. One bird, especially clever I guess, hung around juuust long enough for poor Sassy to take a leap at it.
It was Sassy's last leap. 8 floors to her death. SPLAT!
