Van Halen is back baby!!!!

Yea yea I know it was not Dave but Sammy, but they still threw a pretty good concert. I went with someone who had seen them about 14 times (or so) and said it was the worst Van Halen concert he has seen yet. Accoriding to him Eddie was VERy rusty and they needed to work on a few things, so I guess whoever gets to see them in another month will see a hell of a show.
The weather was awsome and the trip was fun.
I hope they come back for a return date.
I can now die in peace now that I have seen Eddie do a live 10 minute guitar solo.

I was supposed to go, but it conflicts with the Madonna concert. I really can't see them being half of what they used to be back in the day. I saw them in '95, right before they gave Sammy the boot, and I wasn't very impressed.

Long guitar solos would be awesome if it was 1982, or I was 12 years old.
