I'm in the process of "acquiring" several expensive items... only I'm doing it while some other guy trying to sell a rolex is speaking with my voice.

I bought a laptop off ebay a few weeks ago, and the guy told me that it had a three year warranty on it. So I went to the Dell website to transfer the ownership. The Dell website said I needed all of the personal info of the guy who sold it to me. The guy gave me his phone number to enter into it but refused to give me anything else.

So I went to AnyWho.com entered his phone number, sure enough his info was in there so I copied it down and transferred the computer to my name. The dope!!!

People are so foolish with their personal info. I see it all the time. I hate even giving my social security number out to banks. I never give out my home number, and if I'm online I rarely give out my real last name unless I'm making a purchase.

Even funnier, someone must have let him know that his number was on one of the pictures, cause he relisted it without that particular photo. But you can still access the old picture, genius.

"NO PAYPAL - PLEASE DON'T ASK. THEY ARE TOO EXPENSIVE AND HAVE PERHAPS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE IN THE WORLD."

what the heck is this guy talking about? I find PayPal very very convenient and I don't recall paying anything for it or else I wouldn't have signed up for it. I mean, you can upgrade it, but it's not required.

Amy, there is a sellers fee. If you only buy, they do not charge you. But yes, I agree, paypal is the shiznit when using ebay.

I shucked it, and I shucked it, and I shucked it, i'm quite the mother shucker

Somebody should bid on the watch and use his credit card to make the purchase.

Like some guy who drops four-fuckin'-grand on a fucking watch should be bitching about the seller's fee with PayPal.

I've given eBay buyers receipts for expensive items (I sold a nice Tag Heuer on eBay last year) but I would never do so if the whole CC# was on it and I wouldn't post the pic of it at all on eBay.

The picture still shows up on the old auction because eBay hosts the picture not the guy himself.

If I had the Security Code from the back of the card I'd have a few iPods shipping to me now.

Much as I like paypal, they do take a decent cut, and with a $5,000 item, it's a significant number. But they really don't take much more than any other online credit card processors.

So who wants to go on a shopping spree?
