View Full Version : OMG! Mutant Children are here! Call Senator Kelly!

Somewhere in Germany is a baby Superman, born in Berlin with bulging arm and leg muscles. Not yet 5, he can hold seven-pound weights with arms extended, something many adults cannot do. He has muscles twice the size of other kids his age and half their body fat.
DNA testing showed why: The boy has a genetic mutation that boosts muscle growth.
How come Cerebro didn't find this kid? (enough with the X-Men references already!) (http://www.dailycamera.com/bdc/nation_world_news/article/0,1713,BDC_2420_2984793,00.html)

Really? No offense to ADF, but the smartest person on the board for knowing about Nietschze's uber-mensch? Anyone who graduated high school should at least be able to link the 2 things, even if they can't write a paper on them.
Now on to the topic at hand - It's a shame the kid didn't inherit some gene that would cause his penis to grow. Did you see that thing? Ha! Even I put him to shame, and I'm no 'Don Johnson', you know.

My experience with high school students states, perhaps from grading a CAHSEE question involving this; perhaps 80% had absolutely no idea what was being talked about.
Or what Also Sprach [Spake] Tharathustra is.
[Edit: Hey i'll throw it out here. Anyonw wanna give a non-Googled summation of Also Spprach Zarathustra? Just what you know about it, now, reading this sentence. No cheating! I see you back there Zinsky!]

Rumor is the kid wasn't born naturally, or by c-section. He just got tires of being in the womb, and punched his way out.

When you look into the abyss...the abyss looks back into you.
I just know of Nietschze and his philosophies because he's the "easy" one. All of my poseur friends in high school or college that wanted to seem "deep" would go around, hauling his books with them (Which they would selective quote from, but never read), and attempt to expound on the miseries and failings of mankind while somehow wearing six different shades of black at the same time.
I actually got into him when I heard Joe Schuster and Jerry Siegal based much of their initial designs of Superman on the idea of the "uber-mensch."

The paper claims the mother-of-two, from the south-eastern city of Iranshahr, unwittingly picked up the larva when she swam in a dirty pool.
I knew a guy who got crabs from sitting on a public toilet seat.
9 months later - this came out of his ass....

Another Superboy. The German one is 8, this one is 3.
Will they become a Super-Duo? Or arch enemies?
"Superkid," 3, Moves Furniture, Weights (http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2009/04/02/earlyshow/health/main4912859.shtml)
Liam likely has a condition called myostatin-related muscle hypertrophy, which means his body has very little fat and enlarged muscle fibers that make him really strong.
Because of his fast metabolism, Liam needs to eats constantly, as many as six meals a day to avoid a caloric deficit.
And, Ashton has been told, because he's so strong -- he falls, for instance, without getting hurt -- Liam's not learning the appropriate fear judgment of a child testing his or her limits.
Sounds like:

he's gonna be like the hulk, except the whole turning green, growing big, and being portrayed by horrible acting.
seriously. his parents are gonna have a fucking rough time teaching this kid to walk away.
kids fight, and if he's that strong, he's really going to hurt somebody badly.
bless them, cause college will end up free, but still...
