Found this story on Drudge.
Pretty interesting even if it may be a stretch ( although I grew weary of it and did not read the entire article ) :
Abortion Costing Dems Votes ?? (http://www.opinionjournal.com/extra/?id=110005277)
I have balls !!!
What I've just read is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read. At no point in this rambling, incoherent essay was there anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I found the idea behind the article intriguing but find fault in the fact that the kids would not necessarily have the same ideological approach as their parents. If anything, in order to rebel, most kids choose a political stripe to piss off their parents or relevant authority figures.
What I'm getting at is that you could be talking about a nation of aborted young Republicans. Filthy liberals will do anything to keep us down.

any article coming from drudge concerning abortion needs to be taken with a huge grain of salt ... drudge is a staunch pro-lifer, and lost his fox show over showing oictures of aborted fetuses ...
with all that's going on in this world of late, it still amazes me that this is still such a mitigating issue ...
just nonsense

umm. Did you actually read the article?
It's a very interesting thought. A kind of voter-darwinism.

Drudge should have never lost his show. If you're going to show half of the stuff you show on tv, an aborted fetus is fine. People who choose things without seeing what they're for is stupid.

That's why "Let's Make A Deal" was never popular!

Its not like Drudge is writing the article himself.
He's posting it so that a reader can view it and formulate their own opion.
He isn't prefacing it with any statements.
That was just after a link to Barbar Steisand's personal lwebsite and her views on the next election.
It may not be equal time, but its not like Drudge himself is making up the facts.

Clearly there haven't been enough abortions already.

Translation: People shouldn't decide what there stance is until they see what they are agreeing with.
I re-read it and it was sloppy and horribly written.

Ah. That's what I thought you were saying and yes, I agree with you.
So don't go complaining when you see grizzly, disturbing images from the war. You need to see what you're supporting.

Following the person's arguement; they fail to include the numbers of babies aborted by God. God/Mother Nature abortions by misscarraige are not factored in.
So, what is really needed is an in depth interview with God. First to get the Adjusted numbers taking His abortions into the mix. And secondly, asking God what the likely voting demographic of said dead babies would have been.
I'm trying to sound as nuts as the authour. I am failing miserably.

What I don't think he is taking into account the fact that the children that would have been aborted would have grown up unloved. Either by natural parents or by adoption. Starved for attention they would resort to a life of crime. And not very likely to vote from prision.
But I still think it's an interesting thought.

It is true that public support for abortion has waned over the years. But I highly doubt it's costing any Democrat votes.
But it may be killing the chances of those Democarts.

I don't remember complaining, but if I did, I'm sure there was a reason for it.
There is a difference. Watching the media constantly show pictures of the prisoners being tortured over and over again is to much for me. You want to show it? Fine. But the fact that they went on and on about it troubled me. It seemed like it was to make America look bad, and that pisses me off.

Those pictures were so heavily censored and selectively shown, so don't worry, you were FAR from getting the bad stuff.
