Central Park Sunday

I plan on being in Central Park on Sun. at 3pm. A massive memorial is being planned for the slain firemen at that time. I plan on taking my dad who happens to be a 31 year veteran of the NYFD. We'll probably just hold on to each the whole time and cry but at least we'll show our enemies that they have not defeated us or broken our spirits. We will bury our heroes, lick our wounds and pick up our weapons.
Try and attend to show your sympathy and support for our fallen heroes.

I just heard that the memorial is back on. The venue in the Bronx is going to be at Yankee Stadium. The sites in the other boroughs have yet to be posted.
I will keep you posted when they are announced.
