Is is worth it to take a BIG paycut. I think if I need to I can survive on cereal and do my laudry at my mothers. I think this job will be a start to a good future. I have not been this scared in a very long time, what if I can't make it on the smaller paycheck? I have thought of a few ways to cut corners, no more getting my nails done, no crazy shopping trips, refill my botteld water at home, any tips, and should I take the JOB?

I took a very big cut in my base salary for my current position because the upside to make it all back and then some was there. I'm on track right now to make what I did last year, maybe a little more if things fall the right way. And my quality of life is a whole lot better.

So, if it is not a major hit to your standard of living, I'd say go for it if the upside is there.

If you drink alchohol, stop it.
If you go out on fri/sat nights go to a place with no cover and be the DD. still get to hang out, and it will be free. tell who ever is going to the bar to get a drink to ge you a diet coke with a straw. keep that in your hand and by 12:00am no one will even realize you are not drinking.

bring leftovers from dinner for lunch.

Stop all magazine subs, and do not buy any at the news stands (bum off people at work)
