Honestly, it would take you a good 4-5 years to be able to get yourself into that kinda shape. Not saying that he didn't take any steroids, but its not so unbelievable that he is just that built.

.............and the fact that it seems he's always hurt or something to explain why he isn't doing as well as he should be doing. 1st he stopped eating burgers to slim down, then he got a parasite, now their checking for cancer (hope he doesn't have it). 10 years is a long ass time. and you have to think of this. These guys have the best trainers, nuitistionists, weight facilities and millions of dollars to spend on getting themselves in shape. This is their job. its not like they go to work from 8-5 then have to lift after and take care of personal stuff like a normal person. there job in the off season is to stay in shape.
Not to mention athletes are gifted individuals who have a greater genetic chance to put on muscle than a normal person.

Thats not necessarily a good argument that he was juicing. Those pictures were taken way too far apart. But I still think he was on something.

Look at Barry. He was a svelt guy for years. Nothing gradual about his embiggening. All of a sudden, he's HUGE. His head reportedly grew several hat sizes in 2001. Definate steroids, or steroid-like substances.

ok can we stop playing dumb about this? all these guys from giambi, sheffield, bonds to lance armstrong and marion jones, they're all suspect and they all have hundreds of excuses. give me a break they're all dirty.

remember how skinny he was at the start of spring training? well now he's FAT AGAIN. not saying he's innocent, but he sure looks less guilty.

as of right now, he's still got his shoddy health to blame for his abysmal performance. i'm gonna wait til he's at or near full health before i judge him.

as for bonds, if you look at him when he hit his 400th in '98, and his 500th in '01, theres a noticeable difference. the guy clearly doesnt need the juice, because he's as good this year as ever. but he looks like a beast with that lumpy head of his.

and shef, he's always had a big melon, and a quick bat. and he's only hit 40+ HRs twice. he's known to drive runs in more than hitting it out. whats he juicing for? to hit those lasers even faster? his next homer will be his 400th, btw.

Well Giambi isn't playing again today. And they're saying that they haven't left out the idea that there could be the possibility of cancer.

I don't know if they're putting on a show to get people's minds off of the steroids or if this is really that serious.
