it was brought up yesterday who was the best and most trusted "newspeople" and no-one called in to say that you both have the best commentary on the news. it's up to par with Jon Stewart and definitely surpasses Howard Stern no that he's become a self serving jerk. It's too bad the whole show isnt a review and comment on the news. that's when ron and fez are at their best. I also wish these guys would take over the howard imitators- don and mike. mike's not even funny in real life - it's all an act with them and ron and fez are genuinely funny and intelligent

You should have called in with that!

R&F's fastest hour, and their running knowledge and commentary is the best. While they make no secrets that they have their opinions (fewer people are to the left of Ron, I'm guessing), they really do go out of their way to make sure others that call in can make their point, and they often will applaud Republicans when they feel it's deserved, or chide stupid Democrats.

I can't think of any time when they brought in a someone with a differeing opinion simply to play the game of "gotcha!" And they often have a unique perspective on some controversial issues - issues where you think you've heard every argument ever used, then Ron will just blast it all to hell with an observation that makes you go, "Oh, shit...yeah. I haven't looked at it like that before."

I love how they can flow seamlessly from talking about neck slaps with pinky rings in one second, to really insightful cerebral discussions on something like the existence of an afterlife. It's kind of like NPR with a 2x4.
