Iran has broken the U.N. nuclear watchdog's seals on centrifuge equipment and resumed building the devices, which are key to making nuclear weapons, in a show of defiance against international efforts to monitor its program, diplomats said Tuesday. how long until we start dropping bombs on this country??

My father has been saying for a couple of weeks now that Iran was gonna be next on our hit list. All the press seems to have been setting them up for it. Looks like it's full speed ahead.

Who's Bush going to call up to fight this war? The Boy Scouts? The Moose Lodges? Flipper?

We don't have alot of options anymore. We don't have the troops to invade. If we just bomb Iran they'll invade or in other ways attack us in Iraq. We don't have the credibilty to put together a genuine coalition.

The military option is off the table and the only authority that Iran has to listen to right now is the UN Security Council. If we can patch things up with our allies then we can hold back Iran's nuclear program with the threat of international isolation and more sanctions - Iranians do not want to go back to the early days of the Ayatollah.

But America is safer without Saddam Hussein, right?

Does harnessing nuclear energy warrant condemnation? There are many nations in world that have nuclear technology.

The US have beacome the Yankees. No one wants to help (trade/invade) with us. and even if we did we do not have the resources to do what we want to do. Thanx to our Pal Bush Iran can do what they want to do.

And the Iriquois Nation.

Their weapons program trains eagles to drop rocks, chestnuts and the occasional firecracker.

Iran's conventional aspirations worry me as much as their nuclear ones.

However, I tend to believe that they really do need it for power generation -- as much as they need it to BE a power.

There's nuke technology for electricity and then there's nuke technology for weapons materials. I believe the program(s) that Iran (and N. Korea) are running are problematic because they are for enriching uranium (for a Hiroshima style bomb), which they would not need if they were just worried about running their Playstations.

In Richard Clarke's book, he breifly mentions that he had seen war plans in case we ever had to invade Iran and, according to him, they were very, very ugly.
