Today at my place of buisness(a pizza joint), A delivery was placed for a man in a house which quite hard to find. We sent out the next driver up who happens to be new and doesnt speek much english. He's also pakistani. We explained where to go and he seemed pretty confident when he left the store. When ariving on the street he had trouble finding the house, which we all do when first making this delivery. He called the customer from his cell phone a couple of times and the customer even agreed to waiting on his porch to help. After a few more spins around the block the driver decided to take the delivery back to the store and start over. When He arrived back our manager was on the phone with the customer and the customer had this to say "its bad enough you have drivers who dont speek english, but to put a towel head mother fucker incharge of my food is absurd. I'll come down there to pick up my food better yet i'll shove the food up your ass!" then promptly hung up.This is just about when i walked back in from a delivery. We all stood around waiting. I wanted nothing more than to spit in the guys face. He never showed and we ate his food. I really needed to share this story guys. Please keep the hate at minimum. Scapegoating isnt the answer.Thanks i needed to vent.

I too am a pizza delivery driver (Only once in a while now for some extra cash, but I use to work full time during summer and winter breaks in college.)

you'll find racism everywhere especially now. As I said before, the longer it takes for the government to retaliate the more people will feel the need to take matters into their own hand and because the terrorists were part of our country they could be anywhere. While that is very well true, they just look and see everyone as a terrorist and wants to stop it before it happens again.

Eventually we'll hear stories about neighbors bugging each other's phones, spying on each other. Gladys Kravitz won't just be a character, it will be a way of life. We'll start to give up liberties, give up rights. it will be slow at first but it will happen. And the first people to lose these rights are suspected terrorits, mostly the towel heads.

I was glad to hear our President's comments last night about the elusive nature of our new enemy. I hope the comments about how we should respect people with different religious beliefs and ethnic backgrounds reach the people of America. It isn't easy to deal with this anger without having a tangible target to focus it upon.

There's plenty of reasons to be annoyed with a delivery guy who can't find your house anyways without bringing race into the equation.

My motto: Hate individuals for individual reasons.

Thats too funny.. actually i was delivering the other night and this really hot guy i deliver time and a again orders.. when i got there we ended up talking for a few minutes then when i was about to leave he says... whats your name again? and i tell him.. then he says "im patrick" he grabs my hand and never stops looking me in the eyes.. hes either very nice or well that would never happen to me but hey it was cool!

I agree that in a situation like that, the a-hole customer should be outed. My main prejudice is against a-holes, and they are given that title do to their actions not their race, religion, sexual preference or any of the other arbitrary factors.

However, the guy of Middle Eastern decent that was working at a gas station that on Thursday the 13th, flipped a foreign coin when asked for our change and uttered "this will soon be worth more than your American dollar" deserves every bit of hatred and prejudice he gets.
