In two weeks, the annual HORRORFIND CONVENTION will be in Baltimore; guests include George Romero, Adrienne Barbeau, Brad Dourif, Jeffrey Combs, the VERY cool Sid Haig and many of the cast members from all three of Romero's zombie movies, including my new best friend - Kyra Schon!

And, finally, back around the DC area (Shirlington), to will be the annual CAP CITY OCTOBERFEST which brings together tons and tons of small brewers from everywhere. A LOT OF FUN! The specifics on this should be out soon.

Anime? My godson might have been there.

My geekness has limits...ok, it doesn't.

Were you wearing a costume? I may have honked and pointed at you while I drove by, if you were.

Do black t-shirt, cargo shorts and a yankee cap count as a costume?

And I was hoping to promote my website there (shameless plug - Chaotic Computing (http://www.chaoticcomputing.com)), but couldn't get a table to diplay my computers, so I watched some films (Ong-Bak and Battle Royal II) and hung with friends.

I was hanging out in the parking lot next to the pub before a show and every time someone new rolled up they made comments about people in costume.

The show at the 1st Mariner? It was a good band that was making their US debut. I was staying at the Days Inn across the street from it.
