Once in a while, it seems like the hair on my legs, chest or wherever will develop a particular sensativity and become painfill when the hair brushes up against anything. What causes this? Is it neurological? It might be my right shin for a few days, then nothing for a few weeks, and then all of a sudden my chest will get it and my shirts will bother me, or whatever. It doesnt keep me from doing anything, it just is kind of annoying and puzzling to me. Ive looked online, but cant find what the symptom means.

Congratulations.
You've grown cat whiskers all over your body.

I think it just happens because thats where the hair is, and its also where there's a bazillion nerves nerve endings, and different kinds of nerves; pain, pressure, temperature, texture... and oil ducts and glands and capillaries and your skin layers and all kinds of stuff; its a busy place. Lots going on.
I've had hairs, single follicles, that if you touched them, it felt like a needle going right in, I think other have had this, maybe its a zit thing but man talk about those nerves Lighting Up!
Beats me but I feel your pain.
