Ron brings this up on the air every so often. Back when they were doing the Ron & Ron show in the mornings, Don Johnson called into the show drunk and got in a fight with Ron Bennington. To this day, Ron says he gets about a request a month for audio of the confrontation and/or some comment. Ron's attitude is to let the thing go away. I guess they have some audio of the fight that will be airing on "Headlines and Legends" today.

I can't believe I suffered through this whole special - I now know much more about Don Johnson than I ever wanted to know.

The bit with Ron and Ron is over in a flash, but still pretty funny as Don cusses on the show, and Ron B. tells him he can't, and Don says he can basically because he's famous. Pretty funny.

Whoever writes these shows needs to be shot dead - and then revived, then shot dead again.

The introduction by Matt Lauer especially drove me nuts.

If the phrase 'what a long strange trip' applies to someone it's Don Johnson, and when he was ready for his close up long before it came...

Not only does the hack rip off Jerry Garcia (Grateful Dead), but also Billy Wilder (Sunset Blvd.)

And then, they try to be coy with talking about his BIG and IMPRESSIVE sex appeal - tip toeing around the rumor about the size of Don's johnson...I mean, COCK...I was lulled in by the bad writing there for a moment and went for the the easy joke.

I don't think Ronny B sounded that different.

I would love to hear some actual R&R tapes sometime.
