I came to a decision tonight. I like the coffee you get from a deli or a bagel store better than coffee from Starbucks or a Starbucks-esque place. It's cheaper, it's hotter and often better and stronger than stuff from those places. I also prefer regular coffee to special coffee like cappacinos.

Am I alone in this sentiment?

Starbucks is overhyped and overpriced. Duncan Donuts coffee is better.

I agree 100%. Its all about a medium french vanilla with cream & 4 sugars and a coffee cake muffin. Although I do like starbucks Tiazzi's better than D&D fruit coolatas. FC's are icky

I am a coffee-aholic. I love the stuff. I drink it when it's 110 degrees outside. Can't get enough. And having the kind of job where I was on the road all day for the past several years, I've had my share of bad coffee. The oldest, muddiest cup of coffee from a greasy spoon is still light years better than Starbucks, in my opinion.

I couldn't believe how God awful that swill was the first time I tried it. So bad, in fact, that I was convinced I got a bad batch, and had to try it again. It was worse the second time. Now I am quite sure of the truth: it's an Emperor's new clothes type thing. Put out the shittiest coffee on the planet, tell everyone how chic it is, and watch 'em gobble it up at a bloated price. Brilliant.

hey gvac, i drink at least 5 cups of coffee a day, often more, sometimes tea but tell me if you agree with this. Iced Coffee is for pussies.

Starbucks coffee tastes like shit, and it runs through my system in about 10 minutes. I have to URGENTLY pee each time I drink it, and it feels like acid burning down through my urethra. Dunkin Donuts is the best.

Oh come on guys(and gals). There's a reason that Starbucks is SO popular! It's GOOD! I mean, I'm with ya on the local deli or Dunkin coffee being cheap, but there's nothing like the RUSH that you get from a double shot of Starbuck's expresso. WOW!
