I am sooo pleased to have been the lowpoint of R&F's D&B show. I love them sooo much that it is an honor beyond human comprehension ( though Ron has forbade me from speaking of this event again) . Perhaps if I can find a better singer than Chapin, I may offend GOD itself!!!
PS. I gotta gig outta this, ha ha ha, Cinema Wasteland, OH, first weekend in October, Thank U 4 being U!!!

What Bobo is referring to is playing the sitar while Chapin sang "Smells Like Teen Spirit" that took a 5 minute song down to a 2 minute song, and yet felt like a 20 minute song.
Yeah it was an abortion, but it was such a lovely abortion. As someone told me, it was very much like Andy Kaufman...of course, that someone was Bobo, but hey, works for me!
As I already told you, perhaps when you play Wastleand it might be funnier if you, or whoever is singing "Teen Spirit," sing in an Indian accent. Anyone wanting to follow Bobo on his world tour, make your plans for the first weekend in October and go to Cleveland.

This particular convention is famous for being more a drunken shriners gathering with drive-in scary movies than a spooky film geek show.

ADF, I love how Ron dug that comic strip on-air so much and then he told it wrong or something and was beating himself up for it. Nice!

I was amazed no one thought of doing "Cat's in the Cradle" by Chapin's namesake Harry, one of the few pop songs to actually FEATURE a sitar. Furthermore, if Chapin were to dedicate that chestnut to his own deadbeat dad, I guarantee you there would not be a dry orifice in the house.
However, I do salute Bobo for having the guts to make a Rusty Warren reference in the year 2004.
