i was watching the jets game last night and during the first half they had a trailer for Hero. a movie by tarantino? is he producing, writing or directing? it has jet li in it so im going to see it no matter what. anyone have any info on this?

It came out in 2002 I belive. I ordered the DVD from Beijing last year. The storyline and the use of colors make it a great film. If I knew how to link pics, i'd show you the boxset.

This IS a really strong film, and I suggest people spend their time & money to go see it.

Hell, any movie that's got Jet Li, Maggie Cheung, AND Zang Zhiyi in it - together - is worth the price of admission.

it was good except for the "crouching tiger/hidden dragon, i'm flying around while i'm fighting for no real reason" aspect of it. another one you should check out is versus (http://www.kss-movie.com/versus/) i know they have it on netflix if you don't want to buy, but either way, watch it with the subtitles on the dubbed version is corny.
