Sons of Italy don't like Deniro

The lady that was on yesterday: What does she want Deniro to do? If you look at his filmography, he doesn't play Mob characters as much as other roles. He's portayed a Doctor, Policman, Detective, Bus Driver, Frankenstein's Monster, A Washington spin-doctor, Fireman, Master Chief/Senior Chief Navy Diver, Boxer, Priest, Mental Patient, Bank Robber, Obsessed Fan, A freelancing former US intelligence agent, An ultraconservative security guard, illegal freelance Heating Engineer (Brazil), Aspiring comic Rupert Pupkin and a Taxi Driver. None of those were stereotypical Italian Americans (well maybe Frankenstein's Monster) But since they didn't make a HUGE deal about them being italian it's not good enough for her?

And I don't remember the corrupt Governor of California that she mentioned from the first season of 24, anyone know who that was?

She sounded like she did some research, but gave Chazz Palminteri credit for directing A Bronx Tale when Bobby D directed that (Chazz Palminteri wrote it) which was 1993 not 1990.

This stupid group doesnt like anything. My girlfriend is Italian American. Her dad was born there. Most of my friends are Italian American. None of them ever have a problem with Deniro or the types of films he, and actors like him make. If anythimhg-theyre huge fans. This is just another group of people who just need to complain about everything so they can feel like theyre making a difference. The woman who called the show the other night was pissing me off so much. Get over it and enjoy the movie stupid!

guess what? Goodfella's is based on a true story. So instead of attacking Robert Deniro for playing the part, attack Henry Hill for doing it.

I hate when Italian people try and pretend that the mafia doesn't exits. Of course it does. obviously all italians are not in it, and no sane person thinks they are. Get over it already. It is a part of the culture. Maybe not the best aspect, but were also great at masonary work!

BTW, I am 100% Italian and have no problem with any of this.
