No R&F Commercials?

I was thinking about this an realized that I never hear any Ron and Fez commercials. Sure the only other show I listen to is O&A but they always have a "before O&A listen to Don and Mike <cut crappy DM bit>" and "drive from work with O&A drive to work with The Sports guys <cue sportsguys bit>" yet I never hear a "after O&A listen to Ron and Fez" or "if you liked the nude chicks on O&A enjoy Fez's hairless preteen boys."([Fez voice]What?![/Fez voice]) And Ron and Fez DID have the best commercials of any show.

So let me pose this to you- where are the return of the Ron Fez commercials?

i hate to say this but, WJFK in DC, is really makin it hard to listen to ROn and Fez.
they are they best show on WJFK and still they get no comercials, even when they promote the new line up, guess who they left out?? (RF)
they even plug the redskins more than the show!!! we dont even have a phone line to call the show!! whats the point. sorry. frustrated in DC

Well, when they were moved from Middays, Ron said they'd be dropping the "Next time on a very special Ron and Fez..." and would have to come up with a new idea, but not for a while.

Being the radio whore that I am, I do hear Ron and Fez commercials, but "After O&A, Listen to Ron and Fez." isn't spectacular.

The promos where they run a small clip of the show are always trainwrecks, often containing inside jokes that are only funny if you listen to the show regularly or even if you listened to that particular bit in its entirety, and they're usually very poorly edited (there was a while where the O&A promo ended in a funny line, then a burst of laughter from the crew spliced in poorly after it, so much so you could hear the break from the line to the laughter. It was bad.) So with all these complications, I don't think they want one of those running.

Just listen to Ron after a Don and Mike promo runs..."What?!"

So until Fez comes up with a brilliant promo idea again, we'll be short on their commercials, I guess.

Which is a shame, since I wrote a good promo literally days before those commercials stopped. Damn it.

They play ron and fez promos on WJFK. They should add them to list of shows though. Howard Stern all morning, Don and Mike middays, O and A afternoons, sports junkies at night, Ron and Fez late night, and the washington redskins.

Also , by the way, Ron and Fez are played on delay from 11 @ night, to 3 in the morning.

Sometimes I feel like we DC listeners give the impression that we're just complaining a lot about the show, but it's SO justified. We get the shittiest time slot (11 p.m. to 3 a.m.), AND we get a butchered, edited product. To top it all off, there's almost NO promotion for the show. You get more promotion for Ron and Fez if you listen to the O&A show than you would from WJFK itself.

Geronimo isn't going to do anything to fix the problems. He laughs about it. He has their midday time slot, and he takes pot shots at them ALL the time. Plus, he's even laughed about the show's ratings here in DC.

Anyone remember a few months ago when Don expanded his own show to five hours (first fucking move as P.D.), and it bumped the Sports Junkies back an hour? Someone called in to his show to complain about how it pushed Ron and Fez back til midnight, and he just laughed and joked about how that show never got any ratings on JFK to begin with.

Maybe it's cause YOU FUCK IT UP EVERY ORIFICE, YOU RETARDED CUNTRAG.

If anyone has ever heard Geronimo's show, and heard him bitch about how he was screwed over for years by bad program directors like Steve Kingston....well, he's turned into one himself. Irony is ironic that way.
