Well, I went down to the Village after the Mets game, had 3 slices at Joe's Pizza, and headed over to Down the Hatch at about 8:15. I thought for sure I would recognize someone, but I don't think anyone was there. So I had a Coors Lite and exited that taco stand.

We came, we saw, we got fitshaced!!

Here's a quick rundown of the night for me and Amy. We met up with Joe (Jocefus), armed with TJ's directions and headed off to the Turnpike. We were headed over to the Path train so we needed to find a parking garage. With TJ's trusty directions we got lost...something about a T intersection that threw us off. Eventually we found a parking garage that turned out to be right around the corner from where TJ wanted us to go. We met up with TJ and got on the train. We arrived fashionably late to the party and got our drinks on real quick. My brother (Blackbird) was already there and was already a few beers ahead of us. The bouncer was a little bit of a wiseass - he must've carded me seven or eight times, at one point he even asked me if I was actually me. I assured him I was me. We found a good many board folk already on hand Jennitalia, Just Jon, Green Lantern, Silent Spic, Reeshy, Wiley, Katylina, and soon others arrived. Blackjeezis, Dreamweaver, Fluff, Snoogs, Pantera and I'm sure I'm missing some others. We had a really great time and a little too much to drink. Amy had a little too much, though it's almost fitting since it's her 21st birthday that it's a tradition for the newly 21 year old to get sloshed.

Some events...

TJ lost his cellphone on the way to the bar which really sucks. We had hoped he'd left it in his car but it turned out not to be the case. On an up note TJ made an excellent choice in beer. The Sam's Octoberfest was awesome. Though we never did get to try the White Knuckle Stout....next time.

The wings were awesome. I had both the regular and the atomic wings and they were both really good.

Colie (I'm sorry if I misspelled your name) aka Gina's friend. She and Reeshy were really great and helping Amy after she wasn't feeling very well. I really really appreciate everything that you did for her. Plus everyone else who was there trying to help...Wiley, my brother, etc.

After we dropped Jocefus off we headed back to the hotel. Pretty much as soon as we hit the bed we collapsed.

Amy's fine today, she's a little bit dizzy, but in much better shape than she was last night.

All in all it was a great times with great friends.

Seriously though last night was so awesome. I want to thank everyone who showed up to make this the best birthday I've ever had. Thanks to everyone who gave me a lil something and that bought me a drink.

It was good to see people I hadn't seen in a while.
I am sorry I disappeared for a while, I really had to slow down and the only way the drinks would stop coming is if I hid for a bit. I know that defeats the whole point but it just didn't feel right.

I want to thank Reeshy and Colie for basically saving me last night, I wouldn't have made it without you. Thanks to wilee and blackie for the concern. (Colie, your sweater is safe with me. Have Gina get in touch with me on how to get it back to you.) That rose stayed in my cleavage until I got back to the hotel room, I totally forgot it was there.

I learned I can hold a beer inbetween my boobs, I dunno where these tits came from but they're fun aren't they?

I was very gone last night but I think for most of the night I hid it pretty well.

Amy, I'm glad you had a good time. Considering I hadn't seen most of you guys since the Christmas party because I couldn't make the softball games, etc., I was glad I could make it to see Amy go through the ritual that we all do.

Amy, I'm so glad you had a great birthday. I think we only made it to shot 13? Not quite 21 but close enough :) We'll have to finish that sometime. I had a hell of a time until the staircase at Karavas ruined my life.

I want to thank everybody for their concern for me. I especially want to thank Fluff, JustJon, Snoogans, Willee, and Cyber for coming to the hospital with me and staying for a long ass time. You have no idea how happy that made me. I don't know how I would have gotten through that without you guys. I don't think I've ever talked to so many people while peeing at the same time. Thank god for catheters.

So far I have a broken Fibula, Tibia and ankle. All the tendons in my ankle are ripped. I have to have pins put in. I'll be going to the drs later today to find out when I can have surgery. Just call me Sexy Bastard.

I also want to thank everyone who stook around Karavas after the ambulance hauled my ass away. You guys are all truly amazing and caring people. Love you!

p.s. If you are ever injured, don't go to St. Vincent's hospital in Manhattan. Wheelchair? what's a wheelchair? Oh sorry we don't have any of those.

Here's an update...I went to an orthopedist yesterday. Turns out I have 3 breaks in m y fibula, one in my tibula and in my ankle. TERRIFIC! I have to get the xrays from the hospital in manhattan because my dr doesnt understand why they say I need surgery. Everything is broken but is set. So I may get off the hook. I won't know till next monday. Either way I'll be in a cast for 3 months.

Im allergic to percocet and vicodin so they gave me demoral. Nothing is working.The morpheine they game me in the hospital didn't even work. If anyone wants to deliver me some pot I think I'm gonna start smoking again.

So who turns 21 next ? Woo hoo I can't wait.

p.s. Since I ruined the end of the night I'd like to finish it here in my backyard. Anyone up for a continuation of Amy's 21 bday at my house in a week or 2? Yeah I thought so. I'm gonna start losing my mind in this bedroom soon.

Well Amy pace is the key, but try telling yourself that on your 21st birthday. Like I said, you get a pass.

As for the rest of you, its mr. sober but once a pathetic drunk telling ya; Pace! I know the shots look yummy early, but you have to lay that foundation first, slow and easy.

And me personally? Shots? Messes up the pace number one [of whatever you're drinking originally, I mean], and if yer gonna do a shot, do a shot a booze, not any shot that has a name. Shots with names are usually a waste of money, and all that mixing, to me = less gooder booze buzz.

[Edit: Going back and actually reading again, Tequila shots. No worries Snoogs some peeps can handle it; but for me? Tequila simply send the 'start churning' signal to my stomach, and soon after that it's Game Over. I could never handle that stuff.]
