I don't know your particular area, but consider looking for a place that sells billard/pool tables.
They almost always have poker tables and table tops.

My wife has bought me 2 table top poker tables they fit over a regular card table. I have not used them yet but hopefully soon. I think they are about 35.00 or so at Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

I used to use a piece of felt that I bought at a fabric store you need about 3 yards worth. I would use 2 leaves in my dining room table and we could seat 7-8 people no problem around the table. I used those plastic table cloth holders to keep it attached to the table. It worked great.
If you ever need poker chips go on ebay and you can get some great deals on clay poker chips. Now they have the striped ones for about 70-100 bucks for 500 with a case. That is better than going to a store and paying 32-50 bucks for 100 chips.
They have some stores in Jersey I just don't know how close they are to you.

If bed bath beyond isn't near you, try a sporting goods store, like Modell's.
