Sexy Bastard goes in for surgery tonight or tomorrow night from the injury he received at the softball game. Everyone wish him well and for a speedy recovery. I am sure he would love to hear from you.
Except for you Silera...you put him there...YOU need to grovel! (just kidding)

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww you guys kick ass. first off this is the first tiem i have been able to sign onto the board sicne the accident. my computer is upstairs and takes me 15 minutes to go up the stairs let alone get comfortbale to the computer.
I am in pain 24/7 right now..it goes from annoying cast rubbing on bone or on the 6 screws in my ankle pain, to blood swelling up and causeing cramp pain. I went to the doctor on tuesday and he checked me out. the original problem is this
i disloctated my left ankle, torn some tendandts in my left ankle, severe sprain of my right ankle, and fractured my leg between my ankle to my knee. the godo thins is i am staying in bed and not doing anything really, the bad thing is being unemploeyed and no insurance. the docotr stated that i would be in the cast for at least 12 weeks....but according to him and xrays seems to be he will keep me in the cast for 6-7 weeks, and then to support the ankle i will be in a special boot...so I will be a "special kid" lol and with that i will wear for at least 4-6 weeks. so once the cast comes off i wil lgo hunting for work. thank you all for your support it really really means so much to me.

wednsday is my next surgery and its really pissing me off....I got a fucking bill from the hospital seems that the insurance is not helping and sticking me with the entire tab for my first surgery, they will help with this surgery but not on the first one...so I havea fucking huge bill from them and it is pissing me off. with me now unemployed and seems not healing properly i will be out longer then expected.....the thing that pisses me off is the anesthesiologist i know i fucked up the word and also the bill for the metal plate and screws in the leg or as they so nicely put it "implant" to bad there is no warranty or money back offer cause if it was i would tell them to take it out during this surgery, anyway i wil llet you guys know how thissurgery goes..those of you who have called and written emails i really appreciate it.

Isnt there a law that says if you cant pay for medical treatment that you need that you cant be denied it? Id look into it! Anway, I hope you get better fast and get on your feet and able to work soon. I know Id go bonkers if I was stuck home like that! Either that of it'd be time to move back in with my folks. :(

Sexy,
sorry to hear about your troubles... you certainly do not need the 'financial' stress when you already have the stress of upcoming surgery and trying to heal properly...
try not to let the 'payment' get to you. you can't give them what you don't have and just agree to give them a little each month...
that probably sounds too easy but Best Of Luck with the surgery!!!!

well all three surgeries are now done, only one ofthe surgeries the insurance is not paying for, and i am as we speak discussing with the hospital payment options....I now have a shoe on my foot along with the cast..and I will not be needing physical therapy it seems because i have been doing alot of exercies on my leg to keep it strong...and in the last two days i have with help with my walker..taken about 100 steps..its tough and hard but it helps alot...the cast comes of on november 9th.

SB, it sounds like you're really coming along. I think the way you're doing it is the right way. When Amy had surgery in January she was really determined to be back on her feet and on her own she made amazing progress and ultimately didn't need physical therapy. I hope the same for you, and your recovery continues to go well.
