Seriously, A Live action Clerks Sequel. News here (http://viewaskew.com/theboard/viewtopic.php?t=14125) and At newsaskew.com (http://www.newsaskew.com)
So much for Kevin growing up and getting past his "Jay and Silent Bob" films. And yes, Jay and Silent Bob will be in the new Clerks sequel, but only about as much as they were in the first one.
This is supposed to come out in 2005, I wonder when we'll see Kevin's Green Hornet Movie or his Fletch Won movie.

For me it'll probably be when it comes to cable and I don't have to pay for them. His batting average has gone down significantly over the past couple of years.

Also, is "The Passion of the Clerks" going to be a funny title in 2005? I think it's very funny that they released the South Park "The Passion of the Jew" DVD on the same day as "The Passion of the Christ" but now it's already an old joke...

At this point I think it's safe to say we won't see the last Jay and Silent Bob film until one or both of them die.
They still have a couple Animated projects on the back burner, Clerks Animated Movie (Hopefully featuring the KITT car from Knight Rider as Kevin's mentioned) and "Mallrats 2: Die Hard in a Mall"

I'm excited for the movie, but somehow deep down I think he might be going to the well one too many times.

I think the title is tenative. Just to get people talking. I think the movie could do well so long as it has only a small focus on Jay and Silent Bob, like Chasing Amy did. And by "do well" I mean actually be good and funny. At 5 million bucks the movie's sure to make it's money back, and then some.
