Exchanging Foreign Money

When I got back from Ireland and Scotland earlier this summer I still have about 45 euro and 50 pounds left. I know that 45 euro is 50 american dollars and 25 pounds is 50 american dollars so I'll have a nice profit when I get them exchanged. There lies my problem.

Would anyone happen to know where I can get this useless currency converted back to the good, green American stuff? I have no idea and I need money!!

You should have done it while you were still there.
If you try to exchange currency at your local bank, there is a fee built in to the conversion. Since you are already home, it seems that is your only option.

And don't ever exchange at the airport! (Unless you 've got a tub of vasoline ready)

I talked to my stepmom, who works at a bank, over the weekend and she said I might have too small of an amount to exchange at her bank(PNC). She said something about an American Express place in Westfield, NJ so that may be where I have to go to get my little fortune exchanged.
