College roomates

I'm in my first year of college and I'm loving it so far. Only thing is the room is devided by Red Sox and Yankee fans. We get along great but when it comes to baseball, the shit hits the fan.

Anybody ever have rivalries with their roomates?

I was in a room with 3 other guys. One was an asshole, was was an incredibly douche bag prick, and one was an okay guy. I spent as little time in that room as I could.

Rooming with random people, or friends I made AT college, always turned out great. But the first year? When I roomed with a friend from high school? MISERABLE. I literally ended up beating the guy down with a plunger handle, and we didn't speak for over two years.

my first roommate in college was this korean kid - part of the atp(as i liked to call them- the asian trash posse). spoke very lil english, but would mostly say, "so so sweepy."

motherfucker slept like 20 hrs a day. sucked for bringing honeys home.

the next semester i roomed with 1 of my boys. we were on judical review on the 7th day of the dorms opening (classes didn't even start yet). imagine a dorm room with 20 people in and out all night party. shit rocked.

even though i was credits short to move off campus sof yr, they wanted me off campus and let me go.

I am still friends with my roommate of freshman year (5 years ago). Had no idea who he was before I moved in but everything worked out well and we still hang out.

Hmm, my junior year I lived with a guy who I knew freshman year in a 4 man apartment. He never went to class, would play his guitar real loud all night, drop his unfinished food on the floor and just walk away from it, get high a lot.. but he failed out of school. Sucks for him.

Between college and the military I've had my share of shitbag roommates. The first roommate I had was such a piece of crap. I guess we were divided into the "I beat my girlfriend" (him) and "That's not cool" (me) camps.

I lived with 2 girls my freshman year. I ended up punching one of them. Other than that, I had great experiences with my roommates. One of them was kinda icky though...leaving her used condoms on the floor (we also had to take her to the er one night to get a tampon removed).
