Try re-installing the Windows Media Player, there might be a newer/updated version available. If that doesnt work, try Real Player, which also burns CDs.

Much Thanks to CanOfSoup for the sig!

Do I have to delete the old player first??? And will I lose all the media that I have stored on there?

You shouldn't lose your media

You can also try iTunes, which can burn audio cds for you.

No. It's just an upgrade to whatever is built into Windows.
