Now that the kids are back in school summer is pretty much a done deal. Have to admit i'm looking forward to the fall. Trees turning color, halloween, no more cutting frikin grass, getting darker earlier, leaving the windows open.

I hate everything except summer. The only thing I can think about right now is that it's 8 months of bitter cold, gray skies and snow shoveling until decent weather again, and it makes we want to blow my brains out.

I hate the summer. I am def. a late fall winter type person. I like when it is cold out. I like being able to sleep in the cold for free (windows open, NO AC). I am looking forward to the fall. Baseball playoffs, football season, and no stupid basketball clogging up my sportscenter.

I , for the most part, like fall...

Except for the leaf raking, shrub trimming, lawn airating, gutter cleaning, A.C. winterizing, garage cleaning, waking up extra early because the kids are getting ready for school, dog shampooing, fuckin' trick or treaters a'knockin' at the door, trying to start the Caddy at sub 60 temp's, doing my outdoor chores before 6:00 because of fucking short days/daylight savings, Mums, pumpkins, cornstalks, Back To School Night, less oral, and more lip because of cabin fever!!!

I love the fall! The trees changing color, being outside all day without sweating your sack off, wearing heavier clothes to hide myself in. What I dont like is when it gets dark early and not seeing as many scantilly clad women, but once we get past all the snow and bullshit, I know that as soon as it warms up, the girls start showing off some skin boyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

Everything about fall kicks your other seasons' asses. The holidays, the weather, the smells, the colors - all of it. Of course my fall is halfway fucked this year because my gilfriend got a job that's taking her out of the country from today till April (A job I helped her get by the way, who's better than me?) But thats beside the point - Autumn in New York uber alles!!!

I could never live in a place with out 4 distinct seasons. I love the one day in each season where it you get a hint of the next season. Like the one night in fall when it goes below freezing, or the one day or 2 in spring when it hits like 90.
