Going into Best Buy and checking out the DVD's- I've notice there are many "Unrated" versions of movies- 91/2 Weeks, Striptease, Eurotrip, Girl Next Door, American Pie, etc.
So how many naked minutes does a difference make in classifying the DVD as an "Unrated" version? Like in the movie Girl Next Door (I saw the regular version) what did I miss in the Unrated version? I'm assuming the lap dance the ladies are naked in the unrated version.
Wouldn't it be cheaper to have both versions on 1 DVD and if parents are concerned about subject matter, don't DVD's have parental control?
I don't know, it seems that when I was growing up if you got an "unrated" movie something was taboo to see for it to get a rating like that. What was the rating for "Bolero" when it came out? Now it seems that "unrated" doesn't carry the same clout it used to and is used as a marketing tool.
Sorry for the long rant.
Finally, if you have seen both versions of any movie that has an unrated version, what made it different from the regular version.
Thanks.
