As a goof, my wife and I have been entering a lot of online sweepstakes. Mostly for big prizes involving home improvement makeovers and plasma TVs. I also entered a bunch of contests just for the hell of it. So imagine my surprise when I received the following two emails on Friday, the first from New Line Cinema and the second from Blender Magazine...

"Congratulations! You are the Grand Prize winner in the Maria Full of Grace Sweepstakes. You have won 1 Maria Full of Grace poster (signed by Joshua Marston and Catalina Sandino Moren) and a Maria Full of Grace T-shirt." (ARV $32)

and

"I am excited to congratulate you as the winner of the Blender/Comedy Central Man Show DVD Giveaway. You are the lucky winner of the following prize package ...

A copy of the brand new Man Show Season Two DVD, plus the Season One Volumes One and Two DVDs. Winners also receive a free subscription to
Blender. (ARV $92)"

People really do win these things! The first one...eh. But I am psyched about the Man Show win.

I won a copy of Commandos and a strategy guide from Eidos. I exchanged them at a store for a game I wanted.

my aunt wins so much shit from hot 97 in NY. she won a PS2 and XBOX during christmas the years they came out. along with money, CD's and the biggest was a cruise (that may not have been from hot 97). she sits there with 3 phones with the numbers on redial. she is crazy.... and un-employed
