Today marks 1 year since Johnny Cash passed. CMT has been running some great specials all weekend about his life and his music.
This short movie was posted on his website today. It was played at his private and its the first time the public has been able to see it.

Why does this thing keep timing out when I post here?
Ugh, anyway;
He Ruled.
He was The Man in Black.
He was the Man.
I recommend: At Folsom Prison

True, it is hard to believe it's been a year.
He was a major influence in music. Dare I say, the first true punk rocker?

Born to lose, I've lived my life in vain
Every dream has only brought me pain
All my life, I've always been so blue
Born to lose, and now I'm losing you
Born to lose, it seems so hard to bear
How I long to always have you near
You've grown tired, and now you say we're thru
Born to lose, and now I'm losing you
Born to lose, my every hope is gone
It's so hard to face an empty dawn
You were all the happiness I knew
Born to lose, and now I'm losing you
There's no use to dream of happiness
All I see is only loneliness
All my life, I've always been so blue
Born to lose, and now I'm losing you

Supposedly there's more Rick Rubin-era songs to be put out.
If they're as good as the unreleased stuff that showed up on "Unearthed," I'm all for it.
