WCW did have the worst crossovers, but WWF isn't totally off the hook. They had some bad ones in their day. Cyndi Lauper? I don't care if she was popular at the time. I thought the Drew Carey stuff at the Rumble was stupid. It shames me that the WWF used to have to cross-promote with other USA shows (when they were on USA....anyone remember one of WWF superstars [Val Venis?] getting into a fight with former Saved by the Bell star and then "Pacific Blue" actor Mario Lopez??). How about that tool from "That 70's Show" showing up to promote that great classic of our time, "Dude Where's My Car"? And I'm watching a tape of Survivor Series 1993, and they got Ray Combs doing commentary. Jesus Christ, that man didn't kill himself quick enough for me.

Sometimes you do it right, like with LT or Tyson, but I gotta say that wrestling / celebrity interaction just doesn't work well.

I don't like it when local ROID HEADS from sports teams pop up in the audience. It goes like this- "HEY! There's all the guys I don't see scratching themselves on the 3 string of a game I never saw cause they don't air in our area! COOL!"

And who the fuck was that "Hardman" Guy that came out during some event? That's all I remember. Was it an ovrseas event? Probably.

Steve Austin was at a Bruins game before a show, so why can't athletes go to WWF events, WWF is the one's who exploit it.

Nomar Garciaparra was at a RAW I was at once, Rock did a nice bit with him about taking Triple H to Fenway and sticking a bat up his ass.

Then their was a nice YANKEES! SUCK chant.

Another time at a RAW some New England Patriots were at the show and after Rock n' Sock brought them in the ring to sing "Smackdown! Hotel".

One thing I saw on TV was Angle ripping on Tim Wakefield (who was sitting front row.

"Tim Wakefield, who knew you were still on the roster?! Only in Boston!"

Last night, I was bored so i put in my VCR a WcW PPV, Sin. During "The Chosen One" Jeff Jarrett and "That 70's Guy" Mike Awesome some Buffalo Bills players and Gary Coleman of all people interfered.
