Vacation Planning

I've been trying to plan a vacation on my own for the last few weeks and been failing miserably. How effective is it to use AAA or a travel agency to make arrangements, and is it more cost effective than doing it yourself?

The thing is this... I kind of wanted to just fly in to Vegas and do things on the fly - wanted to hit the Grand Canyon and drive down to Phoenix.

I feel so unorganized and without a plan, and that's so not me.

I've never done a multiple destination trip before, and it seems like it's a very big undertaking.

Fuck Phoenix. I was just there and there is shit going on there.

Expedia.com for a good deal in Vegas. Hotel plus airfair for like 550 a person at a nice hotel.

YOu can rent a car while there to drive to grand canon. there are a bunch of tours from Vegas to Grand Canyon.

As I mentioned, skip Phoenix. Although you may like Scottsdale (15 minute drive from Phoenix) because it is the plastic surgery capital of the U.S. more fake boobs than you can imagine. everyone there has them. I was shocked. I was just in AZ for buisness, so if you are really going to go I know a few things. But seriously nothing to great
