The acting may be bad but I frankly love that fan films like this are being made.

Well.....Grayson and World's Finest are really more just trailers than they are actual films, but still, you get what I mean. theforce.net has a ton of fan films on their website. Most are poor SW fan projects, but every now and then they have some good stuff.

i thought it was pretty good for an amateur effort...the green latern was all but laughable...nothing like seeing a poorly done lantern on the beach in the light of day...

i'm a little concerned with the timeline...gordon still being alive...joker still being alive...they were all batman's age...and grayson looks like he's in his mid 30's....

i dunno...guess I'd have to see the movie to see how they handled that...

wonder woman looked awful but of course she does...its a ridiculous costume...bullet deflecting bracelets...its 2004 you mope....you can wear more defensive armor....i don't care how fast you are you're not deflecting every bullet with your wristbands...its just not physically possible...

fire eight bullets at the same speed at different angles and you're gonna need eight arms....bottom line...wonder woman...dumb character, dumb costume....

as for world's finest...batman looks horrible...superman looks AWESOME...right out of an alex ross painting....

that certainly looked like the better film....

longest trailers ever btw...why don't you give away the whole movie...

That Grayson Trailer is for a movie that wasn't made and probably will never be made. There is very little they filmed that didn't end up in the trailer.

TROOPS was cool and started this recent craze of fan films (the one's that are made from fantasy/sci fi francishes) In most cases it's people who want to be film makers (not people who want to be actors) that make these things, lots of times just to try things out and get practice before making a truly original film.

The woman who plays Selena/Catwoman in "Grayson" is very hot. Check out the "Behind the Scenes" movie.

C'mon. It's what, maybe 10 minutes long or so? It stopped being amusing after about 2 minutes. Unless you liked the Uncle Owen / Aunt Beryl bit that went on and on and ON without hitting anything even remotely resembling a funny punchline.....

I dunno, I just find it funny. It's a dead-on "COPS" parody, except it's Star Wars. Simple. The other films I've seen either attempt to be serious, and fail miserably, since they try to out-Lucas Lucas when it comes to bloated plots and dialogue, or they attempt at super-geek humor, which is funny to only like 16 people who've read all the technical manuals. Pass.

That's what's so great about just making a trailer. If there was any actual movie behind this, they might actually have to explain the ridiculous shit going on in these godawful things. Instead, they can shoot stuff with the purpose of making just a "kick-ass" trailer knowing they never have to deliver on any of it.

If you remember the Frank Miller classic The Dark Knight Returns it showed Superman in the same light. We was not a bad guy per-se he just was so naive` he allowed himself to become a pawn to the polotical system. I think that is what happened here also.
