This is a great game. Here are a few tips.

1st do not run your mouth you will get killed quicker then Billy Staples finishing a beer.

2. Try and form an alliance with an established family.

3. Do all of your jobs and activities to build your stats so you will have a chance against the established families.

you should use up all your attempts on petty crimes and activities to build your character. Then spend the money you make on things you need to pull of big jobs. Also make sure you get some body guards so you dont get beat up and or wacked.

Bail each other out of jail and most importantly bail out your don.

The only time a Don can take a beating is while in Jail.

Pantera set up a low 10-15% cut from all family business so you can build a bank roll to support the family.

Try and buy some businesses they generate revenue and you can hide money in them so you dont lose it when you get beat.

If they still have the black market put some basic supplies for rookies.

Hey thanks for the help and the offer! I think it was a shock to most of us that we were getting beat with the frequency that we were. 20 times in one night is no joke though! As a family, we are still trying to figure out our protection strategy. and our buisness strategy. and our earning strategy. basically our entire strategy.

Well, it's certainly interesting as the dynamics of the game changes on an almost daily basis.

It's also intriguing to see what happens between the time that the East Coast players are active and the West Coast players.

Kudos (and other assorted tasty treats) to the MafiaLife admins as they've been requesting input from players at all levels on what we'd like to see added to the game.

The only problem is that I've reverted to what I was like when I first discovered the internet. A drooling quivering fool who keeps staring at the glowing screen.

Of course, that described me before the internet too, but now it's a monitor instead of a television.

The very first thing I did was an activity, and it one that cost money. I didn't realize about the attempts, so I did the 38 max or whatever. So my first day in the game I started 20 grand in the hole. It also happened to be the day the family came off protection, so I was whacked with no bodyguard and no bulletproof vests by the don of the Monolith family. bastards.


So when I came back I was protected for a bit. Didn't go in the hole, and was able to survive for a couple of days. It's working out Ok so far...

JPMNick was on 90% of the time from about 8:00 AM til 4:30 PM as Frankie Scumbag

I was on at least 90% of the time frm 8:00 AM til 4:30 PM as Trophy Soldier.

In addition we were on for at least 2-3 hours in the evening.

I can also vouch for Mojo being on at least 3-4 hours a day - and that was steady time, not counting when he popped on and off to check jobs and run activities.

But the game is more than just running out there and whacking anyone that comes along.

There's a reason why some families have survived for all 4 rounds. There's strategy that goes into not only how the jobs are run, but when and how beatings/whackings need to take place.

As far as strategy... well the only one that matters is to make sure that everyone in the group is as rich and strong as they can be.
