passport, how quick can I get it?

I may have to travel for work in two weeks and I need a passport, the web tells me that a rushed passport takes about two weeks. Anyone ever do this, and is there a way to get it quicker?

There is..there is a passport office in Rockefeller Center...the main one for NY..bring everypiece of ID you have...including Birth certificate.....I forgot how much it costs but I know it's pretty expensive to expedite it....get there at 8am Monday morning...I hope it works...also try the State Departments website....they may have better info!!!!!

I've done it and I did get it within two weeks. I'd hightail it if I were you.
