7. She sneaks to the room, takes a different route, hoping to avoid being seen or meeting anyone.

8. She goes to the room, flirts with him, shows him a tattoo on her ass, kisses him, gives him a blow job, and then bends over, lifting her leg asking him to "do" her.

9. She kisses him goodbye and leaves.

10. She claims that he choked her, and that there were bruises on her neck, but neither the detectives noticed it, and the nurses that
examined her barely did.

11. She claimer that she was shaken, visibly shaken, upset and was crying, and other hotel guests saw her.

In fact no one saw her like that, and the only person who was agreeing with her was the bell boy who turned out to be one of many she slept

They report it to police, waiting for almost 12 hours to do so.

16. Police start their usual bullshit of secretly recording Kobe, and showing their incompetence when not processing his room, an alleged
crime scene as they should, and never gather any evidence from there.

17. The accuser goes to be examined, nurses express their suspicions that she was even raped after examining her, since nothing they have

Actually, I copy and pasted it from a thread I saw in a legal forum. But most of the details listed do add up. Granted the poster was pro-Kobe, but I seriously can't find anybody who supports Faber and doesn't do it blindly. Some of the pro-Faber posts on USENET are amusing, to say the least. You can't find one person who has read up on the case and defended her.

Look, I'm the first to admit that I don't exactly have a sound moral compass. But it takes a really good bullshitter to know bullshit, and believe me - I knew Kobe was innocent from day one, even though I hated the guy.

I don't get why everyone ran to judge Gary Condit (a cheating asshole but did not kill Chandra Levy), Richard Jewell (a guy who wanted to be Buford T. Lawman, and was in the wrong place at the wrong time) and Kobe (a rich, spoiled asshole athlete) and think immediately because they are implicated in a crime that they are immediately guilty.

The thing is, I know that OJ did in fact kill Ron and Nicole. I have no doubt. Bill Simmons said it best - thanks to CSI, we know more about forensics and DNA than we did 10 years ago. If OJ was on trial with CSI being the #1 show in America, he'd probably be on Death Row right now.

I have issues with any woman that doesn't practice self preservation. If I do not want to have sex with someone, I will not put myself in the position to be raped. That includes drinking to the point of passing out in frat houses, visiting sports stars hotel rooms in the middle of the night, or starting sex with someone and then deciding half way through that I didn't really want to.

As much as I don't ever want to blame the accuser, and I believe date rape do occur. There has to be a point where women stop playing the victim and have to assume responsibility for our own actions. It's degrading to women to lay the burden of consensual actions upon the man. Obviously, we are at a disadvatage physically, but there are many stupid things women do that men ultimately pay the price for.

Obviously there are loopholes and exceptions, but in this case in particular, I am convinced that the accuser got more than she bargained for and cried rape. When we let situations like this become the standard for rape cases, I think it unfairly belittles the real rapes of women that weren't idiots or confused.

I don't hold any opinions about the facts in this case and what little interest in it I've had is only in the effect this case ends up having on rape trials in general in this country. The only reason I even posted in this thread is that the lack of credible evidence presented in this thread don't seem to justify any of the strong assertions made about the case. For example, other than the Globe, a supermarket tabloid, where is the evidence that Kobe's accuser is pregnant? And this is America, why does the best evidence presented about a celebrity trial come from a partisan messageboard poster?

The thing that bothers me isn't that the girl was or wasn't raped, (I see no reason here to believe either way on that issue), but that this is a collection of attacks on an alledged rape victim with no standards of proof that any of the attacks are based on truth.

I hope that the standard of care given this victim isn't what will end up happening for others. On the other hand, celebrity trials end up being fodder for the news much more than run of the mill victims. My assumptions about this case are obviously biased because the news coverage. I am appalled at the fact that her name, history, and even photos were disclosed to the public through ineptitude and aggressive news media.

If she was raped, this case is just another example to victims to swallow their pain and not speak up. If she wasn't, and manages to secure a civil settlement, it'll just feed into the notion of women "crying rape."

Either way, it's a loss for both sides of the spectrum, and Kobe is an ass for not having the forthought to avoid the situation in its entirety.

The DA did not say there was evidence to "clear" him; rather there was a disagreement over whether the da handed over sufficient exculpatory evidence in a timely fashion. Prosecutors in all criminal cases are required to hand over what is called "Brady" evidence which is evidence potentially beneficial to a defendant as regards his guilt and/or sentencing. In any case that is going to trial such evidence will exist, and prosecutors and defendants will always squabble over it. The article you linked merely said that the prosecutor had very little brady evidence to offer, which typically implies a stronger case.

Colorado hotel has reportedly married a man she met in rehab.

Six-months pregnant KATELYN FABER has wed the father of her unborn baby, according to American tabloid the GLOBE.

Faber, who dropped her criminal rape charges against Bryant after learning she was pregnant last October (04), reportedly wed ERIC STROBEL in a recent low-key ceremony in her native Colorado.

Faber is still planning to go ahead with a civil suit against the LOS ANGELES LAKERS star.
