Did anyone get this yet or what ?? Im debating on buying it. Wanna hear some reviews on it.

well it doesn't track stats on XBox Live. that's bad

but if you love Star Wars and loved the arcade game where you could do missions with the Death Star and on Hoth and Endor, you'll love this like ten times more.

I don't actually own the game, and probably wouldn't pay the $50 for it if I had it (just got Fable and would want X-Men Legends) but my cousin just bought it and i've played it and basically if you like Star Wars better than X-Men it'd be a great game for you.

I picked it up for the PC and so far I'm happy it. Not thrilled due to lag issues. In general, ithe netcode isn't as good as in Battlefield 1942, or at least doesnt play as good. Perhaps patches will improve netplay (which is pretty much why I think most people buy a titile like this).

Curiously, comparing the game to Battlefield 1942, I'd say the single player mode is better than I expected and the multi-player mode is worse.

Another big complaint is the menu and controller setup. Its terrible. They go for a 3D effect but in the end it just makes it awkward. Setting up the controller seemed to take forever to get the axis directions correct. Alot harder than other games I've played.

If you are Star Wars fan, then this is a solid title. I think the reviewers got it right giving this game around a 7 or 8 out of 10. Its a good game but there a lot of odd problems with it. With patches, that score will only go up.

Plus, you get to take out Ewoks. Finally!

I rented it this weekend and wouldn't buy it new..i'll wait for it to be cheaper and used.

Half of the games are from the classic trilogy, with battles where you can play the empire or the sand people, the empire vs the rebels on hoth, etc. The game does look better in the commerical than it actually is. It is probably a rental game..i don't think I'll be interested playing it continuously. I'm hoping multi player would be more exciting.

There is like a "capture the flag/base" thing going on...the 1st person view sucks but the third person view is ok. They stole the names from Goldeneye like "survivialist" for the player who hides the most and "tank buster" for the player that takes out the most AT-ATs. The newer trilogy i just got up to playing and it sucks to be a fucking droid battling other droids or whatever.

I didn't play it multi player, only single player. I don't have friends so.

Bough the game as soon as it came out. I have to say I am a little dissappointed in some of the missions. You could just simply win the game if you just stand around and do almost nothing but survive. And you do not fly any space missions just ground assaults. You DO get to fly the various ships as air support but that is about it. As is the case with most of the Star Wars games there is no back story really this time. And not much else as far as cut scenes go. They took some of the Star Wars dvd scenes but on my system (PS2) they look fuzzy and out of focus.
I was hoping it would have been something along the lines of Star Wars:Jedi Knight or something like that.
Guess not.
I am not thrilled with the game but it is keeping me occupied.

It will be interesting when i try it online and go national with other groups.

From reading all this Im glad I didnt run out and buy it the first day it came out. I think Im tainted from playing Knights Of The Old Republic.
