Why a thumbs down? Well, because the ride is almost an exact clone of one already open in Cedar Point, Top Thrills Dragster (http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/inside_park/rides/thrill/ttd/specs/index.cfm)

Besides for it being 5 feet higher and a mere 8 mph faster it looks like all we are getting here on the east coast is a clone of an already existing ride.

Fooey to that. I wanted to see some innovation!!

This always happens. Cedar Point is the only park that really innovates. Others just build clones (Dorney Park for example, built a coast almost exactly like Magnum XL-2000, and I think Kennywood did too.)

Fuck, these coasters have gotten out of hand. This one does over 120 mph? Fuck you, my ass aint going on it.

Oh, by the way, from launch to slow down is a eye blinking 20 seconds. Nothing like waiting an hour and Forty minutes for a 20 second ride.

I shucked it, and I shucked it, and I shucked it, i'm quite the mother shucker

We went to Cedar Point the week the dragster opened to the public. We didn't ride because it was like a 7 hour wait or something like that. We stood and just watched for a bit, like 20 minutes or something. It's was almost unbelievable, going to 125 miles an hour in a second or whatever. The whole ride was maybe 20 seconds long but it has to be the most crazy thing ever.

The ride is amazing.. it really does put every other coaster I have ever been on to shame. The huge rush you get from it is worth the wait, maybe not 7 hours, but the hour and a half we waited for it and the 8 hour drive it took us to get there.

It will be cool to have a ride like it so close but I was still hoping for something different. But don't that that as meaning I don't like it. When it opens here next year I will reccomend it to everyone to try at least once.

I was about to say, there aren't enough fucking lines at Great Adventure.
