Drove down to Asbury Park, Bruce is rehearsing there for the upcoming shows; and I see the main security guy is an old friend, and long story short, he lets me in to watch the rehearsal, with Bruce and E St band + John Fogerty going over some Bruce stuff, and a shitload of CCR hits.

I got lucky, there were about 5 others besides the band, sound crew, a film crew, and sound guys waiting to tear the whole thing down as soon as they were done:

Bruce, wow those are rehearsal clothes, and yes Bobby P, that is a NY Yankees cap.

Bruce and Fogerty. They did a bunch of CCR, stopping often so Fogerty could teach them how the songs went. "Playing In a Traveling Band" was done about 3 times, with Bruce trying to sing some verses. Wow Fogerty should sing CCR, Bruce should sing Bruce. The photos suck but no one was close to the stage.

I saw Bruce do a show with only like 1,000 people and I thought-wow, this is such a small show, he never plays to such a small crowd. Watching him with only a dozen people must have been incredible Mike.
