Very strange sight as I was driving into town this afternoon. It was a blimp hovering over the skyline. I don't know why it was unselttling, but it was very much so. I'm not too concerned until they start taking my picture and giving me more speeding tickets and/or parking tickets. But just generally odd.

Was it like a Goodyear blimp or the Metlife blimp, or an unmarked blimp.
Living less than 10 miles from both NYC and Giants Stadium I see marked blimps all the time.

Very much unmarked. Even if it was the Metlife or Goodyear Blimp it would Not be over downtown DC. There are too many no fly zones and whatnot. People were talking about it on the radio this morning, it's a security/surveillance thing. The only mention I could find online was about one for the Olympics.

my grandmothers brother was at the Air Base in Lyndhurst and watched the Hindenburg go down.... I pass the base on my way to see my pops who lives in Whiting, they have these huge hangars. they look like a cool place to play some music in...
