Sadly, I see the two worst words for Club Shows: All Ages.

Havent been to the TicketBastard site yet, so I don't know where else theyre playing; this place is about a 2,000 capacity place; big, not Roseland big, but man seeing them here would kick ass compared to being 100 yeards back in section 347 at the Garden.

LAst time I went to an "all ages" concert, it was an Incubus concert and I felt like a dinosaur. Like I was intruding on someones sweet 16.

For some that's two years too late for dating purposes.

I went to see Manson in November of 2000.. at the Hammerstein Ballroom for the God, Guns, & Government Tour.. I see very interesting things.. even though it was an "all ages" show.. I'll recap some :
1. Saw wannabe goths wearing those fangs and those white contact lens thinking they're impressive.. ditty ass people.
2. Saw this 15 year old wearing a "Don't Like the Drugs, but the Drugs Like Me" t-shirt get busted for selling extacy on the sidewalk while waiting online.. he looked so cool doing it *well he though he did* until the cops spoted and cuffed and his scrwaming was priceless : *screaming to his friends* "DUDE, CALL MY DAD!.. TELL HIM I GOT ARRESTED FOR NO REASON!"....... douche
3. Saw a group (4) of Mexican Metalheads *yes.. there a lot of them*.. drink a twelvepack in under 5 minutes.. I guess they wanted a huge buzz before the show..
4. Saw Manson's parents arrive in limo to the venue.. His mom looks just like him.. freaky.
5. Saw Howard Stern in those little balconies.. very cool.
6. Saw she-males, trannies, and weird gay guys everywhere.. and the funny part was that the "tough" mosh pit guys were hitting on them.. priceless!
7. Saw a pair of young boobs! :eg:
8. Saw, for the very first time, great, excellent band called gODHEAD.
Thats about it I think... If I remember more, I will list..

Exactly. It's completely ruins the vibe.
This may sound weird, but after seeing god knows how many hundreds of band sets, and concerts, If I'm going to a show like this, I *expect*, and sorta *want* a little Danger. I want the place to be packed with guys like Pantera, and the hot as hell chicks that go to these shows, and I want it smoky, and watching Mom wth Eric or Erica , just kills it.
Oh, ICP is playing there soon, like next week sometime soon, for fans of the Juggalos.
[Edit: Keep it going cumbierno. I love concert reviews and stories. wow there's a thread idea. Worst concert experience...]
And I havent seen them live.

that guys about as useful to me as tits on a man...
actually i've heard a few interviews and in 'real life' he's pretty down to earth... the shows and his stage life though to me are a little 'over the top' and his music is a theatrical version of early Black Sabbath...

manson has really change over the past 10-15 years.. he went from a drugged douchebag to a rich douchebag.. I have his DVD with all the concert clips and such and let me tell you.. Next time I buy a music DVD, I don't want to see she-males peeing on the floor....
or do I?....... :|

i was just at starland ballroom last weekend (saw clutch, awesome band) for the first time its a pretty impressive venue.....and to see a performer like manson there would just be sick imo there are plenty of places for the older folks to watch in peace ,im 26 i realized last weekend i can't keep up in the pits anymore :(
Goddamn! Motherfucker got blood all over my best clown suit!

I want to go. I have never got to see him live, and I've always had a sick fondness for Manson. What a great birthday present that would be. ::cough:: 10/14 ::cough::

10 years ago, I saw Marilyn Manson and the Jim Rose Circus Side Show open for nine inch nails. Great show, but I was very much in the minority that actually knew Manson's music before the show.
So far, ticketbastard only lists up to the Electric Factory show (a cool place to see a show in Philly), but Manson is playing the Roseland Ballroom on 11/18

Really? That sucks. If only because the Eurhythmics cover of 'Sweet Dreams' in my opinion, is 'Not Even Trying' defined. Ugh. Ptoooey!
Havent seen him live so im on the fence coz the video he did years back where he enters the stage on stilts is still one of the fucking coolest stage effects ive seen; simple, and it works: he looked like something out of war of the worlds, and it was pretty cool. He has some stuff, I dug HolyWood and The Beautiful People and The Dope Show, but the 'What Have You Done For Me Lately?' factor leads me to believe he better put out something relevant quick or small clubs will be about what he'll be able to draw.

All of them are that obvious. That, "Tainted Love" and "Personal Jesus."
