Merck had a voluntary recall of Vioxx. It's a pain med that helps with osteoarthritis.

It also doubles the risk for heart attacks and strokes. Hence the recall.

My aunt, uncle, and grandmother are all on Vioxx. I was disturbed to say the least when I heard this news.
