I am wondering if there is any such thing as a Region crack for my Panasonic RV62 DVD player. I have been playing around with getting a Region 2 DVD Player but wqanted to see if there is any crack codes for mine first. My Region 2 collection is growing and watching them on the PC stinks.
I KNOW there are some really smart techhie guys and gals on this board and just looking to pick your brains for some help. :p

While we're on the subject, my Apex model that was hacked to be region-free and macrovision-free just died. Any recommendations for an inexpensive player that can be similarly hacked?

I have been wondering about this, since amazon's british site sells old school wwe video on Region 2 dvds. If I had a cheap multi-region player, could I order and watch these videos here?

Yes. I used to watch region 2 DVDs on my hacked Apex player.

Ok Jon, cool thanks.
That being said here is my next question.....
My DVD-ROM on my computer plays ALL Regions of DVD's. If I get me a DVD Burner can I burn Region 2 discs onto a DVD+R and then be able to view it on my Region 1 player?
Thanks again.

You would need to crack the region coding in the disc before burning it. If you do a direct copy, you'd be keeping everything, including macrovision.

Just wanted to share and since I feel oh so techno now.....
I was doing one of my Best Buy visits and asked the one manager if I could do the Region 1 to Region 2 thing via DVD Burner for my PC. He said why would I want to spend all that money when I could get the CyberHome DVD 300 for $39.99. I asked if I could return it if it didn't work and he said yeah if it is within 30 days. So I just tried it and it didn't work UNTIL I found the Region Crack code online. The fucker works and now I can watch all of my Region 2 DVD's in my home theatre. I am SO giddy I could spurt!

Thanks much, fluff. I just picked up (and hacked) the Cyberhome 300 unit from Best Buy to replace my all region player that died. You can't beat $40.99 for an all-region player.

Good eal.
I just got my shipment from England this past week with Shaun of the Dead (which is just amazing), Spaced (which looks oh so promising) and all of the Ali G DVD's at HMV UK (http://www2.hmv.co.uk/hmvweb/simpleSearch.do?pGroupID=-1&simpleSearchString=ali+g&primaryID=-1&btnSearchGo.x=0&btnSearchGo.y=0) and Amazon UK (http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/search-handle-form/026-3963758-7768449) for œ4 - œ7 a piece. Looks like whatever sale they had on last week is off but not a bad deal for them.
