BEAVER ISLAND - Police have arrested a Saginaw County man on charges he made numerous obscene telephone calls to residents on Beaver Island in mid-September. Charlevoix County Sheriff George T. Lasater said Jonathan Joseph Alloway, 18, remains lodged in the Charlevoix County Jail on charges stemming from the telephone calls. His bond has been set at $2,000 cash or surety.


Now what could he possibly have said that would be considered obscene?
