At least it appears that way. Seems Fox has hired a writer, and an accomplished one at that, to pen the script for Wolverine, a spin-off of the X-men francise showcasing your favorite and mine (well, except for Gambit.) This guy, David Benioff, wrote Spike Lee's 25th Hour which I thoroughly enjoyed. He's written some other stuff too, so good for him.
