Jay Kidd is being a bitch. I love the guy, and he saved our franchise, but I bet Kmart aint half the player without Kidd. He's just an athlete, no low post game.

We might take a few years to get back, but with all those 1st rounders, the future looks bright.

As for this year, the east is wide open.

The Nets Aren't going anywhere fast. The loss of K-mart will prove to be one of the worst in franchise history. This guy is an incredible player and will help put the Nuggets into Title contention in the next few years. how can you say hes not that good? With out him the nets never would have gone to the finals. Also its just a matter of time until Kidd gets traded, just look at his past history with other teams (Dallas & Suns), they start to rebuild and then he leaves town. They aslo lost Kittles who was a key player in there title runs too. This is a team that might not even win there division, much less make it out of the first round of the playoffs. Sorry pal you future looks pretty bleak.


P.S the knicks suck, but there far from the worst team in the NBA (thats reserved for the Nets)

No way Kenyon is makes the difference in Denver that he made in NJ. Its just not happening. He's still gonna be good, dont doubt that, but he will not be the impact guy for a couple reasons.

1. He'll be playing in the West. They know how to neutralize a scoring foward out west. In the east, if you are taller than 6'6 and heavier than 210, you can dominate.

2. The Nuggets don't have a Jason Kidd. The difference he made for the Nets is clear. He was the centerpiece of a team full of role players--he got them to play their roles nearly perfectly. If the 2002 team had a center not named Mutumbo, they would have had a legitimate shot at a title. Simply put, Kidd made everyone on that team MUCH better.

3.Martin just doesnt seem to be a leader. He doesnt come accross as a guy who can guide a team to victory and carry them when he has to. Now I don't know enough about the Nuggets and their personnel, but they better not look to him to be "the guy".



All that said, he is a solid player and the Nuggets will benefit from his acquisition, but not as much as they expect. He meant more to NJ than he will to Denver.

Martin always underpreformed in the Finals. Dave is absolutely right, he will not flourish in the West, and he'll start complaining realllll early if he doesn't think he's getting enough touches. Plus I hear that he suckerpunched Nene in practice already. Way to make an impression on your new teammates douchebag.

Besides....I lost all repect for K-Mart after he almost ran over me & my friends in the Dunkin Donuts parking lot trying to get a parking space. He was going pretty fast and he looked at us like we were doing something wrong. Don't worry......your knees won't last long. :eg:

Martin Averages almots 10 boards per game? And who is going to guard down low? Richard Jefferson, Arron Willams? This is a huge loss for the Nets and it will show.

The whole division is terrible, I'm a Knicks fan, but how they are in first place is beyond me. Only Eastern teams that should play in June are the Pacers, Cavs, Magic and Heat.
